Course Overview
Integrated recurrent training in RNAV/RNP fundamentals and the RNAV 1/2, RNAV 5, RNP 1/2, RNP 4 and RNP 10 navigation specifications.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, the trainee should be able to:
- Differentiate RNAV from RNP.
- Relate RNAV and RNP specifications to operational capability.
- Apply preflight checks for PBN operations.
- Recognize and respond to loss of required navigation performance.
- Differentiate RNAV 1/2 and RNAV 5 applications.
- Explain the operational context of RNP 1/2, RNP 4 and RNP 10.
