Course Overview
Two-year operational course covering oceanic preflight, entry, crossing, reroutes and contingency procedures.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, the trainee should be able to:
- Prepare aircraft, crew and route for oceanic entry
- Apply clearance/FMS cross-checks at and before the entry point
- Monitor navigation, communications, fuel and route during the crossing
- Manage reroutes and oceanic contingencies using approved procedures
