Course Overview
Recurrent review of constant-descent-angle techniques for non-precision approaches, including path planning, altitude constraints and missed-approach decisions.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, the trainee should be able to:
- Explain the safety rationale for constant-descent NPA techniques
- Plan and monitor an angular vertical path while respecting constraints
- Apply MDA and visual-reference requirements
- Execute the missed approach using correct vertical/lateral timing
