Course Overview
Six-part UPRT ground course covering aerodynamics, energy and load factor, high-altitude/automation effects, recognition, avoidance and disciplined recovery principles.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, the trainee should be able to:
- Explain aerodynamic principles relevant to aircraft upsets
- Relate angle of attack, load factor and energy state to stall/upset risk
- Recognize developing upset conditions and automation-related threats
- Apply aircraft-specific recovery priorities and effective crew coordination
